Compressed master
- Quiet parts feel loud and crowded.
- Transients are softened.
- Instruments compete for space.
- Bass changes tone more than impact.
Music streaming platform
Proluceo is a music platform built around dynamic integrity — preserving the contrast, space, and impact that make music feel alive.
Not louder. More alive.
Listening demo
Switch between a compressed master and a high dynamic range master. Both versions are loudness-matched, so the difference is not volume. Listen for punch, space, separation, and the way the music opens up.
Compressed vs dynamic
Compressed masters are not automatically bad. They can work well for casual listening, low volume playback, noisy environments, and small speakers.
But when played louder on capable headphones, monitors, hi-fi systems, or powerful car audio, heavy compression can become fatiguing. The music has less room to breathe.
Dynamic masters behave differently. Quiet moments remain quiet. Loud moments hit harder. Instruments stay separated. As you turn the volume up, the music opens instead of flattening.
Proluceo is built for active listening — for people who want music that feels alive.
Why it matters
A crushed master can still be delivered as 24-bit / 192 kHz audio. Higher resolution does not restore punch, space, or contrast once they were removed during mastering.
When music is aggressively compressed, the quiet and loud moments are pushed closer together. The result can feel flat, harsh, and fatiguing.
Proluceo focuses on what listeners can actually feel: preserved transients, healthy contrast, and music with room to breathe.

Dynamic fidelity score
Every track can be analyzed with Dynamic Fidelity Score, a transparent measure of how much dynamic information survives mastering.
DFS rewards preserved transients, healthy crest integrity, sane loudness, and freedom from heavy limiting.
DFS does not judge whether a song is good. It measures whether the master still has room to breathe.
DFS is not a taste score. It is a transparent signal of dynamic integrity.
The platform
Proluceo is building a streaming catalog centered on high dynamic range music.
Listeners will be able to discover music selected for depth, contrast, and preserved impact, see the Dynamic Fidelity Score before listening, and experience masters that were not flattened for loudness.
Artists, producers, and labels can submit dynamic masters and make their audio quality visible to an audience that cares deeply about sound.

Mission
Music has always been an essential part of my life.
But over time, more and more albums became difficult to enjoy fully at higher volume. The punch, space, and emotional contrast that made music feel alive were often buried under aggressive compression.
The frustrating part is that the problem is not the music. It is the way many masters are optimized for loudness.
Proluceo started from a simple question:
What if a music platform valued dynamics instead of loudness?
